1. Field of application

These Terms and Conditions apply to all deliveries from Peter Busse - Sicherheitstechnik to consumers (Section 13 of the German Civil Code – BGB).

3. Offer and contract conclusion

3.1 The presentation of products in our online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer but an invitation to place an order. All offers are valid “while stocks last” unless stated otherwise. Errors excepted.

3.2 By clicking the “Dispatch order” button, you submit a binding and payable order. The purchase agreement is concluded once we confirm your order by email.

4. Contract text

The contract text is stored in our internal systems. You can view these T&Cs on this page at any time. Order data and T&Cs are sent to you by email. After the order is completed, the contract text is no longer accessible online for security reasons.

5. Right of cancellation

5.1 Cancellation period
You have the right to cancel the contract within 30 days without providing any reason.

5.2 Cancellation policy

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within thirty days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is thirty days from the day on which you or a third party named by you (who is not the carrier) took possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Peter Busse - Sicherheitstechnik, Wilhelm‑von‑Siemens‑Straße 23, Haus F, 12277 Berlin, email: info@pitlock.de) by means of a clear statement (e.g. letter, fax or email) about your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use a sample withdrawal form, but it is not mandatory.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for any additional costs arising if you chose a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days from the day we receive your withdrawal notice.

The refund will be made using the same means of payment you used in the original transaction unless otherwise expressly agreed. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied proof of having returned the goods, whichever is earliest.

You must send the goods back to us no later than 30 days from the day on which you informed us of your withdrawal. You bear the direct costs of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

5.3 Code-specific orders

Please note: Orders of customer-specific coded parts or special lengths are excluded from the right of withdrawal.

6. Prices and shipping costs

• All prices include statutory VAT/sales tax and other price components.
• Shipping costs depend on the quantity of goods and delivery method. They will be displayed before you place your order (see “Shipping” page).
• Bank fees, customs duties and other local charges are always borne by the buyer.

7. Delivery

• Delivery will be made after the correct amount has been credited to our account.
• The delivery time within Germany is up to 3 working days. Deviations are indicated on the product page.
• Delivery to Packstations is possible.

8. Payment

• Payment can be made by bank transfer or PayPal.
• If “bank transfer” is chosen, delivery will be made after receipt of payment.
• The right of set-off exists only if your counterclaims have been legally established, are undisputed, or acknowledged by us in writing.
• A right of retention may only be exercised if it arises from the same contractual relationship.

9. Retention of title

The goods remain our property until full payment is received.

10. Warranty

The warranty is provided in accordance with statutory provisions.

11. Product design changes

We reserve the right to make design improvements to our products at any time. We are not, however, obliged to apply these changes free of charge to products already delivered.

12. Place of jurisdiction

The place of jurisdiction is Berlin, Germany. This applies to both domestic and international sales and regardless of whether the buyer is a business customer or a consumer.
